Public Records Request

The Big Bear Lake Department of Water and Power is committed to transparency and open access to public information. Use this form to submit a request for public records in accordance with the California Public Records Act.


Under the California Public Records Act (Government Code Sections 7920 et seq. and 7922.540), every person has the right to access public records maintained by the Department of Water & Power. We will respond to your request within 10 calendar days of receiving your request, we will notify you whether records exist, can be disclosed, or if more time is needed.

You may choose to inspect records, receive copies, or both. If you request copies, duplication costs may apply. To help us locate records quickly and effectively, please provide as much detail as possible (subject, date range, department, record titles, or other identifiers).
