- This vehicle is declared surplus and is offered for sale in accordance with the California Government Code and DWP policies.
- The vehicle is offered for sale “as is” and “where is,” “with no guarantee or representation of any kind, expressed or implied as to condition, utility, or usability. DWP makes no warranties or representations, express or implied, including but not limited to any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
- Payment and vehicle removal must be made within 48 hours of notification of successful bid.
- The bidder agrees that no reliance is placed on representations, warranties, statements, estimates, or other information made or provided by DWP except as set forth in the advertisement of sale.
- The DWP shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the purchase, ownership, operation, or use of the vehicle after transfer. The purchaser assumes all risk upon transfer of the vehicle.
- All sales are final. No refunds, returns, exchanges, or chargebacks will be permitted.
- Vehicle removal and any related acquisition fees are the responsibility of the successful bidder and must be paid prior to vehicle removal.
- Payment must be made by credit/debit card or certified funds at time of vehicle removal.
- The successful bidder will be notified via the phone number submitted in the bid.
- Bidder agrees to provide all necessary information and complete all required documentation to transfer vehicle title.
- Additional terms proposed by the bidder may be accepted at DWP’s discretion. If not accepted, the bid will be rejected regardless of price.
- These terms and conditions shall survive transfer of title and transfer of possession where applicable.
